Great Improvement

Shayne here again. My mother's condition has improved quite a bit since my last update. She has started weening off the ventilator for four hours a day and is responding to requests from the nurses and doctors, such as moving her toes and feet and blinking her eyes. She is even smiling and frowning some. She may be moved to a physical therapy hospital some time this week, which is a step she needs to take before going home. She still won't get to go home until probably some time in March, but at least she's still with us. I want to thank everyone for their support, prayers, and well wishes.
